*Monthly Meetings*	The Safety Council meetings are for you. It is an excellent opportunity to meet other safety representatives, discuss issues, learn about new and changing safety procedures, and hear from experts on topics which could reduce your accidents and save your company money.

*Seminars*	Half-day seminars on special interest topics are planned periodically.

*CEO Event*	The CEO event is designed to attract and gain upper management’s commitment to their employee’s safety both on and off the job. Membership benefits are discussedand speakers present information related to how the Safety Council can benefit the company and improved the bottom line.

*Award Program & Banquet*	The Safety Council sponsors a safety award campaign to promote greater interest in the prevention of occupational accidents. Companies with the best safety records during the year are honored at our annual awards event. Awards are determined and provided by BWC’sDivision of Safetyand Hygiene.

*BWC Incentive Program*	Starting in 2004, the BWC began offering area businesses who meet specific requirements an incentive to become an active Safety Council member. In 2006/2007 the incentive was 4%. Information and the requirements for the incentive program for fiscal year 2008 (July 1, 2007 thru June 30, 2008) can be downloaded from the home page.
